A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year at a high school in Torrance, CA. This contract role involves managing a diverse caseload with students requiring mild to moderate, and some moderate to severe, speech and language support. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Key responsibilities include: Providing evaluation, intervention, and ongoing therapy services to students consistent with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student communication goals Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district requirements Participating in IEP meetings and contributing professional expertise on student needs and progress Qualifications and desired experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Experience working with high school students across mild to moderate and moderate to severe speech and language impairments Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with educational staff and families Ability to maintain compliance with regulatory and district policies This position is billed through the district and aligns with the master contract that has been approved by the SELPA. The role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the communication skills of high school students in a structured school environment.
