A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide coverage for an unexpected leave at two K-12 schools in La Mesa, CA. This contract role requires delivering comprehensive speech and language services to a mild to moderate caseload, supporting students' communication needs across the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to an average caseload of 55 students.
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress.
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success.
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations as well as school policies.
Travel between two schools, managing time efficiently for on-site therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
Valid and active California SLP license or certification.
Experience working with K-12 student population, especially mild to moderate speech and language impairments.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to adapt to changing schedules and caseloads.
Prior experience in school-based therapy preferred.
