A full-time Special Education teaching position is available at a K-8 magnet school in New Haven, CT, offering a dynamic environment focused on supporting elementary students. Collaborate with a team of four experienced veteran teachers to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and resource plans. Support student progress through differentiated instruction and ongoing assessment. Maintain clear and consistent communication with school leadership and families. Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Valid K-8 certification in Special Education. Experience working in resource settings within elementary education. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a classroom effectively. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. Work Schedule and Environment: School hours are from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM. Full-time position during the new school year.
