A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought to provide specialized support within a K-12 educational setting in Denver, CO. This contract position spans the full 2025-2026 school year, focusing on early childhood education caseloads.
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment plans tailored to students from early childhood through grade 12.
Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals into classroom activities.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning.
Implement evidence-based interventions to support students communication development.
Qualifications:
Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in early childhood education.
Strong understanding of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapy techniques.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
