A specialized opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a kindergarten student in an elementary school setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide effective, clear, and accurate sign language interpretation services to support the kindergarten students communication needs. Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics while supporting the students developmental and educational goals. Qualifications: Minimum EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score of 3.0 required. Proven experience working as a sign language interpreter in an elementary school setting. Strong understanding of early childhood education and the communication needs of young children. Ability to work one-on-one effectively in various classroom situations. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment. Location: Franklin, North Carolina Duration: Contract position lasting the entire school year (NSY).
