A K-12 school in San Jose, CA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time support during the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students in grades K-12, tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans Conduct assessments, track progress, and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional expertise to student goals and accommodations Support students in improving speech, language, communication, and social interaction skills to enhance their academic success Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification and licensure appropriate for California public schools Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an elementary school setting Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based therapeutic interventions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working in educational teams Ability to manage caseloads effectively while maintaining detailed records and meeting deadlines Position Details: Location: San Jose, California Schedule: Full time, 37.5 hours per week Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Contract Duration: August 19, 2025 to June 12, 2026 This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in students lives by supporting their communication development in a supportive, engaging school environment.
