A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students in San Jose, CA. This contract position runs for the duration of the school year and offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory requirements Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide professional recommendations Qualifications and Experience: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credential suitable for school settings Experience working with children and adolescents in K-12 educational environments Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and best practices relevant to school-based speech therapy Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with school teams and families Location: San Jose, California This position is ideal for licensed SLPs dedicated to enhancing students' communication abilities within a dynamic school environment.
