Full-Time | 2526 School Year | Contract Position Company: Soliant Education Soliant Education is seeking a qualified and dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite position in the Hampton, CT area. This is a contract role for the 20252026 school year, working with 4th grade students in a resource setting. Position Details: Schedule:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Caseload:
22 students (4th grade)
Service Model:
Resource position with a mix of push-in and pull-out services
Pay Range:
$40$50 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
Provide specialized instruction in both push-in and pull-out formats
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
Monitor student performance and adjust instruction as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and meet all compliance deadlines
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for each student
Requirements: Must hold a valid Connecticut Special Education Teaching License, if licensed fully in Massachusetts or Rhode Island, may accept that licensure or be willing to hire with expectation you are working on CT licensure
Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred)
Previous experience in a resource setting preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents
