A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a Minnesota public school setting. This role requires a dedicated professional with expertise in comprehensive psychological assessments and compliance with IDEA and Minnesota Rule 3525.
The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below. Key Responsibilities: Conduct initial and re-evaluations for special education eligibility, producing clear, defensible reports. Provide assessment and consultation services, including Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), and risk/threat assessments. Collaborate within the Minnesota Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MnMTSS) framework to assist educational staff. Ensure timely and accurate completion of Special Education due process forms and documentation. Maintain compliance with state guidelines and support multidisciplinary teams as needed. Qualifications: Current Minnesota PELSB School Psychologist license. Demonstrated expertise in psychological assessment and report writing aligned with IDEA and Minnesota Rule 3525. Availability to work at least two school days per week during the academic term. Ability to conduct evaluations and develop recommendations efficiently and effectively. Successful completion of a background check is required. Location: Position is located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, supporting a K-12 school environment. Contract Details: Term covers the 202526 academic year with an option to extend based on mutual agreement.
