The caseload involves working closely with children and adolescents, tailoring therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of the deaf/hard of hearing population. Preferred qualifications and skills: Minimum of 1-2 years experience in school-based occupational therapy Background in home health and healthcare OT settings is advantageous Experience or strong interest in working with deaf and hard of hearing students Ability or willingness to learn American Sign Language (ASL), with school-provided lessons available to support skill acquisition Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team This part-time position requires availability for 12 to 16 hours per week, offering flexibility while providing essential therapeutic services within an educational environment.
