This position offers an opportunity for a licensed Physical Therapist to provide specialized PT services within a K-12 educational setting. The role is based in Saint Paul, MN, and is structured as a contract assignment for the current school year (CSY). Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and develop individualized physical therapy plans aligned with students' educational goals. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy strategies into the learning environment. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy interventions as necessary. Ensure compliance with school policies, regulatory standards, and confidentiality requirements. Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment or environmental modifications to support student participation. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with current licensure applicable to Minnesota. Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings preferred. Knowledge of school-based physical therapy practices and IDEA regulations advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records.
