Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to meet student goals. Provide consultation and guidance to teachers and parents regarding communication strategies and accommodations. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations. Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required. Valid School SLP credential in relevant state or eligibility to obtain. Experience working with K-12 students within a school environment. Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, intervention techniques, and educational frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and staff. Location: Puyallup, Washington Duration: Contract position for the current school year (CSY) This role is ideal for a dedicated professional passionate about supporting student communication development in an educational setting.
