Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to students with special education needs Collaborate effectively with parents, district staff, and educators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Ensure compliance with all relevant educational and therapy regulations and guidelines Maintain detailed and organized documentation to meet deadlines and reporting requirements Support students in accessing and benefiting from appropriate therapy services within the school setting Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in special education and school-based therapy Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple deadlines effectively Proven ability to collaborate with parents, school personnel, and multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of federal and state education regulations, including IDEA and IEP processes Work Details and Benefits: Location: Anaheim, California Contract duration: Full school year Position Type: Contract Work hours: 30+ hours per week eligible for benefits Hourly compensation: $58 to $73 per hour Benefits include health, vision, and dental insurance for contracts over 30 hours weekly Paid sick leave accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked This role offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to the success of students with special needs while working in a structured educational environment.
