A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025/2026 school year, providing services within a K-12 educational setting located in Elgin, IL. This contract position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting students communication development across multiple school locations.

Key Qualifications and Experience: Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) SLP license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required; candidates holding a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will not be considered Experience in pediatric speech therapy within school and healthcare environments preferred Proficiency in teletherapy services is a plus Prior involvement as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in healthcare or school settings is beneficial for support roles Position Details: Contract term from August 14, 2025, through May 28, 2026 Part-time schedule with 27 hours per week initially; potential increase to 30 hours weekly based on performance and program needs Services provided across two school locations in Oak Lawn and Plainfield Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade, collaborating with educators and families to ensure student progress Benefits and Perks: Opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment serving diverse student populations Supportive administration focused on professional growth and program development Potential to expand hours based on demonstrated fit and commitment This role is ideal for an experienced SLP committed to fostering speech and language development within a school community.
