A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available serving a therapeutic day school setting with approximately 20-30 students on your caseload. This position focuses on supporting K-12 students with diverse communication needs including autism, intellectual disabilities, and social-emotional challenges. The contract runs from August 12, 2025, through June 5, 2026, with an extended school year session from June 22 to July 17, 2026.

Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to children in a therapeutic educational environment Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies to support student communication Address behavioral challenges through tailored therapeutic interventions Collaborate with educational and healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans Deliver services that support students communication goals and enhance academic success Qualifications and Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within healthcare and school settings Background working with autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disabilities highly valued Skills in teletherapy considered an asset, although onsite service delivery is strongly preferred Familiarity with behavior management techniques is a strong plus Location: Elgin, Illinois, serving students within the local therapeutic day school environment Benefits and Perks: Competitive hourly rate for SLP-CCC professionals Guaranteed minimum work hours throughout the contract period Access to health, dental, and vision insurance offerings This position represents an excellent opportunity to impact students' development in a therapeutic educational setting.
