A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available in a K-12 school setting in San Antonio, TX for the school year contract from August 12th through May 29th. This role focuses on supporting speech-language programs under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists to help students improve communication skills and achieve academic success.

Responsibilities include: Assisting with screening, assessment, and treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Implementing therapy activities designed by speech-language pathologists Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support individualized education programs (IEPs) Preparing materials and setting up equipment for therapy sessions Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards Qualifications and desired experience: Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Experience working with children in a school or educational setting preferred Strong understanding of speech-language development and disorders Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and work under professional supervision Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Organized with attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate documentation This contract position runs from August 12th to May 29th, providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the full academic year.
