A school psychologist opportunity is available for the upcoming school year (September 2nd through June 5th) in the Minneapolis, MN area, serving grades 6 through 8 in a K-12 educational setting. This role is suited for candidates with a current School Psychologist credential and experience working with middle school populations. The position offers flexible hours, with options for part-time or full-time engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct approximately 50-60 psychological evaluations to support student needs.
Lead and coordinate building MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) teams and student intervention initiatives for full-time positions.
Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of teachers and four other school psychologists within the district.
Provide consultative services and recommendations for student academic and behavioral support.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified School Psychologist with relevant K-12 experience.
Strong understanding of MTSS frameworks and intervention strategies.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with educators and staff.
Ability to manage caseload efficiently while addressing the diverse needs of students.
