Contract Outpatient Pharmacist Marshfield, WI

We are seeking an experienced outpatient/retail pharmacist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The pharmacist will work 8-hour shifts within the pharmacys operating hours of 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with alternating Saturday coverage (9:00 AM 1:00 PM). This role includes coordination with another pharmacist to ensure mid-day coverage and may require floating between two retail sites in Marshfield.

Float Requirement:

Must be willing to float between two retail locations within Marshfield

Duties: Accurately fill and verify prescriptions

Provide patient counseling and education on medications

Review and interpret physician orders

Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations

Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care

Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and staff

Assist in inventory management and ordering

Qualifications: Active Wisconsin pharmacist license

Previous outpatient or retail pharmacy experience preferred

Strong communication, customer service, and clinical skills

Ability to start quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
