Provide field-based scientific exchange and communication of FDA approved and pipeline products Support the Medical Science Liaison team’s objectives for FDA approved products Identify, establish, and maintain scientific relationships with opinion leaders regarding disease-state and product-specific information Facilitate scientific development of pipeline compounds at research centers and support Jazz’s presence in designated therapeutic areas Support the clinical operations organization in Jazz-sponsored research as needed Serve as primary liaison with investigators interested in developing and performing investigator-initiated research Work in a cross-functional environment with alignment to Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Clinical Development groups Document and forward reports of adverse events according to Jazz’s policy Attend and provide scientific support for Medical Affairs activities and scientific sessions at regional and national congress meetings Develop and prioritize solutions to problems, understand actions and results, and address customer needs Mentor and coach peers and demonstrate leadership on cross-functional projects Manage at least two large cross-functional projects with leadership and collaboration while maintaining geographical responsibilities Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Ability to effectively communicate scientific data to internal and external customers, including opinion leaders and managed care organizations Knowledge of geography and key opinion leaders preferred Thorough understanding of applicable federal and state regulatory requirements for field-based scientific personnel Ability to develop trust and relationships with opinion leaders in disease states of interest Collaborative, team-based approach; ability to network with internal and external stakeholders, including commercial and R&D partners, medical opinion leaders, academic institutions, large group practices, managed care organizations, medical directors and pharmacy directors Ability to work evenings and weekends Ability and willingness to travel 60% of work days Required/Preferred Education And Licenses
An advanced doctorate degree (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD or equivalent) A minimum of 0-2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or clinical/research experience (MSL experience preferred) Preference for Sleep Medicine experience; experience in Neurology, Psychiatry or related fields will be considered Jazz Pharmaceuticals is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any characteristic protected by law. $154,400.00

$231,600.00 . Individual compensation depends on qualifications, skills, experience, and other factors. The total package may include discretionary bonus/incentive plans and equity grants.
