This contract opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary students with significant needs in a welcoming school environment in Toledo, Oregon. The role offers a full school year (190-day contract) with dedicated time for case management and collaborative support.

Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction to a caseload of 10 students with significant learning needs. Collaborate with three teaching assistants to implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Utilize autism support resources and Team of Specialized Assistance (TOSA) services to enhance student outcomes. Manage case files effectively during four designated release days. Maintain compliance with Oregon state educational standards and IEP mandates. Qualifications: Valid Oregon Teaching License with Special Education Endorsement is required. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience is preferred. Demonstrated ability to teach students with significant and diverse special education needs. Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills essential for working within a multidisciplinary team. Location: Elementary school setting in Toledo, Oregon.
