Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

A hospital in western North Carolina has an opportunity for a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage.

Opportunity Details:

• Schedule: 6a-6p
• Setting: Surgical Trauma ICU
• Duties: Multidisciplinary rounding, documentation, procedures, patient progress monitoring, complex wound care management, patient transfers and/or discharge planning, and patient/family education
• Procedures: Intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, central line placement, arterial line placement, laceration repair, and complex wound care
• Support Staff: Physicians, residents, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, physical therapists, case managers, ancillary staff, and other specialists
• EMR: Cerner
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
