A hospital in western North Carolina has an opportunity for a Critical Care Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage.
Opportunity Details: Schedule: 6a-6p Setting: Surgical Trauma ICU Duties: Multidisciplinary rounding, documentation, procedures, patient progress monitoring, complex wound care management, patient transfers and/or discharge planning, and patient/family education Procedures: Intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, central line placement, arterial line placement, laceration repair, and complex wound care Support Staff: Physicians, residents, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, physical therapists, case managers, ancillary staff, and other specialists EMR: Cerner Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses During your time off, browse eclectic local boutiques, explore a vibrant arts district, and drive the Blue Ridge Parkway for panoramic overlooks, waterfalls, and hiking trails.
