Overview
Oracle Cloud ERP Technical / Functional Lead Finance & HR Systems at UniFirst Corporation. This role covers global business processes for Oracle Fusion ERP solutions in Finance (General Ledger, Sub Ledger Accounting, Organization Structure, Chart of Accounts, Period End Close) and HCM Core functionality, including build, test, implementation, documentation, monitoring, and audit. The position also involves collaboration with a strategic Managed Services Partner to support supply chain planning processes in steady-state mode, functional help desk support for KTLO and enhancements, and quarterly Oracle Cloud Fusion updates. Responsibilities
Implement total business solutions by leveraging standard Oracle Cloud Fusion applications to drive simplification and reusability of Fusion ERP Financial and HCM Core functionality. Facilitate business process reengineering with business units to deploy solutions that conform to the UniFirst Global Template. Support integration solutions with third-party applications used in Financial and HCM Core solutions (master data management, financial transactions). Partner with UniFirsts implementation partners to lead design, configuration, test, and deployment of new or enhanced functionality, business flows, and/or modules. Ensure FSDs and TSDS are properly defined and reviewed before related builds; ensure configuration workbooks are defined and approved; develop test scripts and support defect management and auditing Utilize approved change management processes to document and implement change; support OGL content guide creation as required by OCM Team; support Knowledge Transition through hyper-care with MSP partner. Evaluate new functionality opportunities within Oracle EBS to support business process reengineering; manage Master Data Management requirements for business unit transitions and ongoing maintenance. Develop and execute project plans for new functionality implementations; facilitate steady-state business processes with MSP partner and conduct global status meetings with business units/regions. Establish, track, and manage KPIs for defined business processes; support Business Analytics and reporting requirements. Analyze quarterly Oracle Cloud Fusion updates for patches and one-off updates; develop end-to-end process documentation for tests, training, and communications. Support training curricula for Process Owner/Super User/End User and onboard HR processes. Collaborate with Oracle ERP Team and IT Infrastructure Team to ensure efficient support and change management; support non-prod and project instances for continuous improvement. Hybrid position with 50% on-site attendance required, with increased attendance during strategic initiatives (e.g., UAT, production cutover). Qualifications
Education: BS/BA in Information Technology or related field. At least ten (10) years of technical/functional solution deployment on Oracle ERP (R12). At least seven (7) years of experience with R12 Financial and Core HCM solutions (end-to-end preferred). At least five (5) years of experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion (SaaS) ERP Financial and Core HCM solutions (end-to-end preferred). Experience integrating Fusion ERP with third-party solutions and Master Data Management, plus experience with project financial cutover activities. Experience with Oracle EPM Gen1/Gen2 and Oracle Tax solution; proficient in SQL/PL-SQL for data extraction and analysis. Strong experience using JIRA for end-to-end traceability; capable of providing project estimates and managing projects. Operational knowledge in GL/SL and financial close processes; basic project management capabilities; understanding of ERP implementation life cycle; SOX experience. Experience transitioning solutions to steady state with a managed services partner; knowledge of MDM requirements and cross-functional collaboration. Success Criteria
Build strong relationships with business units and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and drive system-enabled process changes. Execute configuration across Cloud Services/Modules for Supply Chain Planning/Execution; identify cost-effective process improvements. Collaborate with MSP partners and offshore support models; translate technical concepts for non-IT stakeholders. Demonstrate project management, time management, and facilitation skills; maintain accountability and credible leadership within functional areas.
