We are seeking an Oracle ERP Functional Manager to oversee our global business processes utilizing
Oracle Fusion ERP solutions in Finance (General Ledger) and HCM Core . This critical role will involve gathering business process requirements, building, testing, implementing, documenting, and continuously auditing our processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Lead the implementation of comprehensive business solutions using Oracle Cloud Fusion applications, aiming for simplification and reusability across both Financial and HCM Core functionalities. Facilitate business process reengineering to align with the UniFirst Global Template solution. Support integration processes with third-party applications related to Financial and HCM Core functions, focusing on master data management and financial transactions. Collaborate with UniFirst's strategic implementation partner(s) to guide the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of new or enhanced functionalities. Define and review Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and Technical Specification Documents (TSDs) to streamline build activities. Develop and approve Configuration Workbooks and create comprehensive test scripts ensuring proper defect management and documentation. Assist in the Knowledge Transition (KT) with the strategic Managed Services Partner (MSP) and support the creation of operational content guides. Evaluate new functionality opportunities in Oracle EBS to enhance process reengineering efforts consistently. Oversee Master Data Management (MDM) processes for business unit transitions and maintain high-quality master data. Manage the execution of new functionality implementation project plans. Conduct regular global status meetings with key business partners to facilitate ongoing business processes supported by deployed solutions. Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for defined business processes, enhancing both Business Analytics and reporting requirements. Analyze quarterly updates from Oracle Cloud Fusion related to business processes and modules, coordinating with strategic patches and releases. Create end-to-end process documentation that serves as the foundation for test scripts, training materials, and business communications. Provide support for training curriculum requirements for Process Owner, Super User, and End User, including onboarding processes defined by HR. Collaborate with Oracle ERP and IT Infrastructure Teams to ensure efficient change management and support procedures. Contribute to the support of UniFirst's Oracle Cloud Fusion solution infrastructure for all continuous improvement projects. Please note that this hybrid position requires 50% on-site attendance, with increased presence during strategic initiatives (e.g., UAT, PROD cutover). Qualifications: Education:
BS/BA in Information Technology or a related field. Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years in technical/functional solution deployment on the Oracle ERP platform R12. At least seven (7) years of experience with R12 Financial and Core HCM solutions, preferably end-to-end. A minimum of five (5) years of experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion (SaaS) ERP Financial and Core HCM solutions. Background in integrating Oracle’s Fusion ERP Financial and HCM solutions with third-party solutions, including MDM and business analytics. Experience in project financial cutover activities, focusing on data reconciliation and validation. Proficiency in deploying Oracle’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions. Advanced skills in JIRA for end-to-end traceability of business and application solutions. Experience with project estimation and management. Comprehensive knowledge of operational processes, including GL/SLA transactions and financial closing processes. Strong project management skills with a complete understanding of the ERP application life cycle process. Experience with SOX compliance and internal/external auditing. Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction and analysis. Experience transitioning business solutions into steady state with a managed services partner. Success Criteria: Build strong relationships with business units to understand requirements and guide resolution through either system functionality, enhancement, or process change. Ability to execute configuration for Supply Chain Planning and Execution Cloud Services/Modules. Analyze current processes to identify cost-effective and best practice changes to support system implementation. Collaborate effectively with strategic managed service partners, often in offshore configurations. Strong operational knowledge in Supply Chain Planning and Execution. Communicate technical information effectively to non-IT personnel. Exhibit excellent project management, time management, and facilitation skills. Demonstrate accountability and build respect among functional leaders as a credible resource. Track record as a team player, collaborating effectively for work and problem resolution.
