Duties
As an Accountant, GS-11 you will perform the following duties:
- The incumbent is responsible for carrying out professional accounting responsibilities in accordance with guidelines established by DHS/ICE.
- The incumbent performs activities that enable the agency to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Take action to achieve organizational financial and accounting objectives.
- Assist in determining the propriety of accounting transactions from federal funds.

For GS-09 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience at the GS-07 level or equivalent performing duties such as:
- Reviewing automated/manual accounting systems to manage accounting data
- Interpreting financial data to provide analysis for management
- Reviewing guidance and procedures on accounting/financial issues
Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date. National Service Experience (volunteer) may apply.
