Introduction: We are seeking a professional and friendly Office Receptionist to join our team. As the primary point of contact for our organization, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for our clients and visitors. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, answering and directing phone calls, managing correspondence, and providing administrative support to various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
  • Manage the reception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries efficiently.
  • Maintain appointment schedules for various departments and arrange meetings as necessary.
  • Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, and managing office supplies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office administration is a plus.
  • Proven work experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
  • Proficient in using office software and equipment, including Microsoft Office Suite and telephone systems.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor with a customer-oriented attitude.
