Under the direction of the Chief Marketing Officer, the Marketing Operations Manager will provide day to day oversight and support for all Marketing operational departments. The Marketing Operations Manager will assist with strategic planning, leadership, and accountability of the team to ensure operational goals are met. This position reviews, analyzes, and provides strategic and tactical recommendations for all Marketing initiatives to maximize market share and profit growth. This position must exemplify our brand promise of providing an Exceptional Entertainment Experience and be supportive of a positive atmosphere that aids Team Members in providing exceptional guest service. Duties can include, but are not limited to administrative, vendor relations, resolving guest complaints, training new Team Members, implementing SOPs, budget planning, and mentorship for Team Member career development.

  • ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Hire and train personnel as assigned, ensuring the Marketing Department is properly staffed, well-trained, and fully equipped to deliver on our Brand Promise.
  • Analyze guest data and player behavior to develop data-driven marketing strategies and evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns.
  • Develop and implement marketing calendars aligned with business objectives and revenue goals.
  • Monitor campaign KPIs and adjust tactics to maximize ROI and guest engagement.
  • Research industry trends and competitor activities to identify new marketing opportunities.
  • Introduce new technologies and platforms to streamline marketing efforts and enhance guest experience.
  • Collaborate with CMO and the advertising agency to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all marketing channels.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of promotional events—from planning and implementation to post-event analysis—ensuring flawless execution, including timely submission of promotional documentation. Assist in the creation, coordination, and execution of on-floor promotions, giveaways, contests, VIP events, and other marketing initiatives designed to enhance guest engagement and drive incremental gaming revenue. This includes a working knowledge of constructing promotions within the Casino Management System (CMS).
  • Oversee the production of promotional marketing collateral, including posters, signage, banners, direct mail, and related materials.
  • Work with the CMO to manage marketing budgets responsibly, ensuring cost-efficiency and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of marketing materials and promotional items.
  • Enhance guest retention through targeted programs such as loyalty rewards, giveaways, and exclusive events.
  • Monitor and respond to guest feedback related to marketing initiatives, promotions, or Players Club programs.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with gaming regulations and internal policies.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure alignment and seamless execution of promotional activities.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive collaborative marketing initiatives and ensure consistency in messaging and guest experience across departments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with supporting departments, including gaming operations, food & beverage, and VIP hosts, to support integrated marketing efforts.
  • Implement training programs for marketing staff to enhance skills in data analysis, guest service, and promotional execution.
  • Utilize CRM systems to segment guest data, personalize communications, and optimize campaign targeting for increased engagement.
  • Complete performance reviews for applicable team members, setting goals and identifying professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure the integrity and security of player data and marketing databases in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Oversee coordination and promotional support for the casino's bus program, including scheduling, rider incentives, guest experience, and partnership management with transportation provider.
  • Analyze bus program performance metrics (ridership trends, trip frequency, guest spend) to optimize routes and drive incremental revenue.
  • Review and approve social media content to ensure brand consistency, accuracy of promotional messaging, and alignment with compliance standards.
  • Monitor social media channels for guest feedback or promotional questions, escalating issues as needed and adjusting future messaging based on audience response.
  • Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversion) from social media promotions to inform future content strategy and event planning.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Casino management or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal, motivational and leadership qualities.
  • Five (5) years of experience in developing, executing, and analyzing gaming promotions.
  • Previous Casino Management experience mandatory.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience supervisory or management in Marketing, Guest Services or Player Development.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Skills and Abilities:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Casino Management System(s), or any applicable related operating systems.
    • Exceptional Guest Services skills, and ability to effectively utilize conflict-resolution techniques.
    • Must have organizational skills and the ability to work with all departments.
    • Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment and adapt to continuous change.
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality including, but not limited to, employee data, player activity, financial data, marketing plans & policies.
    • Has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
    • The ability to analyze casino metrics and to apply data to marketing strategies.

PREFERRED

Education and Experience:

  • Experience interacting with advertising agencies/graphic designers.
  • Familiarity with the production process of marketing materials.
  • Proven success in areas of advertising, digital marketing, direct mail, social media, budgeting, financial planning, profitability, productivity and concept of development, or willingness to acquire skill set.

Must be flexible to work hours based on business needs including weekends and holidays.
