Overview

Employer operates in Transportation Research and Development. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule and hands-on experience in traffic operations and safety research within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to manage and create accounts for the TOPS Lab WisTansportal web portal
  • Regularly install operating systems and applications on desktops and laptops
  • Provide support for hardware and software needs of TOPS staff and students
  • Assist with moving and connecting desktops and monitors as needed
  • Manage content on WordPress websites

Qualifications

  • Must be a current UW Madison student
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable working with computer hardware, including replacing components
  • Strong customer service skills, including courteous and respectful communication
  • Ability to balance work responsibilities with academic commitments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working and managing WordPress sites
