The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students occupational therapy needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group sessions Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and regulations Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs) Qualifications and Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) Familiarity with school-based occupational therapy practices and regulations Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs Location: Citrus Heights, CA This is a contract opportunity for the full academic year.
