Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instructional plans tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement effective educational strategies Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, adjusting methods as needed to achieve learning goals Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with educational regulations and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and participation Qualifications and Experience: Valid teaching certification in Special Education or relevant licensure for the state of Colorado Experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning needs and disabilities Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and instructional best practices Effective communication skills to engage with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage classroom dynamics and maintain a positive, organized learning environment Location:Position is based in Colorado Springs, CO, serving a full K-12 school.
