Soliant is seeking an experienced
Interim Director of Pharmacy (Pharmacist-in-Charge)
to provide leadership and coverage at a critical access hospital in Luray, VA. This position is ideal for a pharmacist with strong inpatient and management experience. Position Details: Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 am 3:30 pm
On-Call: Evenings (3:00 pm 7:00 am) and weekends (average 2 calls/month)
Dates: September 28, 2025 February 2026
Dress Code: Business casual
Travel: Non-taxable travel stipends available for lodging, meals, and incidentals
Responsibilities: Provide pharmacy leadership and oversight as PIC
Perform staffing duties as required, including order entry and verification
Support hospital staff with safe, efficient pharmacy operations
Minimal sterile compounding responsibilities
Oversee Pyxis system use and audits
Requirements: Active and clear
Virginia Pharmacist License
(required)
Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience (required)
Pharmacy leadership/management experience (required)
Experience with Epic (preferred; training available)
Familiarity with Pyxis automation (required)
Staffing Environment: 0.5 FTE Pharmacist
1.5 FTE Technicians (handle Pyxis, IVs, and ordering)
