Full-time remote opportunity focusing on school-based social work services supporting students with diverse social, emotional, and behavioral needs. You'll provide essential counseling and support services while collaborating with educational teams to maximize student success. Service Delivery Areas Individual and group counseling sessions via secure platforms Crisis intervention and safety planning consultation Behavioral intervention support and implementation Family engagement and community resource coordination Trauma-informed care and therapeutic support Transition planning and life skills development Core Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and evaluations Develop individualized intervention plans aligned with educational goals Provide direct counseling services through interactive virtual sessions Collaborate with IEP teams for goal development and progress monitoring Facilitate family meetings and community resource connections Document services and maintain compliance with state standards Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and crisis response Essential Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work from CSWE-accredited program Current Michigan school social worker license in good standing Minimum 2 years of school-based or pediatric experience Strong technology skills for virtual service delivery Excellent communication and crisis intervention abilities Experience with special education processes preferred Virtual Excellence
