Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with visual impairments Provide direct instruction in academic subjects and life skills tailored to students' needs Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure accessibility and inclusion Utilize specialized instructional materials and adaptive technology to enhance learning Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Advocate for students needs and facilitate effective communication with families and educational teams Qualifications: Certification or licensure in Teaching Students with Visual Impairments Experience working with visually impaired students in K-12 educational settings Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive teaching methods Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement effective, individualized instructional plans Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota Job Type: Contract, Current School Year (CSY) This position offers an opportunity to impact the academic and personal growth of students with visual impairments in a K-12 environment.
