This position involves providing comprehensive psychological services in an elementary school setting, focusing on students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) from kindergarten through 5th grade. The role includes hands-on support within classrooms, as well as 1:1 and small group interventions, in addition to conducting and assisting with evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct support to students in classroom settings, individually, and in small groups
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments
Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement intervention plans
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and legal guidelines
Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification
Experience working with K-5 students, specifically those with EBD and ASD
Ability to provide hands-on support and engage effectively with students and staff
Strong assessment and evaluation skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
