A school-based opportunity is available for experienced School Psychologists and Social Workers to support student well-being and academic success. This contract position, located in Waterbury, CT, spans the current school year (CSY) and involves collaborating closely with educators, families, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive behavioral and emotional support services.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological and social assessments to identify student needs and support development of individualized interventions. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to establish effective strategies that foster a positive learning environment. Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students facing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations regarding student confidentiality and service delivery. Preferred Qualifications: Licensed School Psychologist or Licensed Social Worker with experience in school environments. Strong understanding of child development, mental health issues, and educational systems. Effective interpersonal and communication skills to work with diverse student populations and school staff. Knowledge of assessment tools and evidence-based intervention strategies. Ability to manage multiple cases and work independently within a team-oriented setting.
