A full-time social worker position is available to provide coverage for a leave of absence at a middle school in Elgin, IL. This contract role is expected to last until October 17.

Collaborate with school staff, families, and external agencies to address student social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans. Assist with crisis intervention and prevention programs. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and procedures. Qualifications: Valid Social Worker licensure or certification. Experience working with middle school-aged children in a school setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of social service resources and regulations related to school social work. Location: Elgin, Illinois This position offers an opportunity to support student well-being in a school environment on a full-time basis for the duration of the leave.
