Key Responsibilities: Offer direct social work services to middle school students, including counseling, assessments, and support plans Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs Develop intervention strategies and provide crisis management when necessary Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to promote student well-being and academic success Qualifications: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program Licensed or eligible for licensure in Illinois as a Social Worker Experience working with middle school-aged children Strong knowledge of school social work practices, child development, and community resources Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Location: Chicago, IL Middle School setting This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students lives during a critical period of need.
