Special Ed Teacher - Allentown, Pennsylvania

A Special Education Teacher is needed for a K-12 school setting in Allentown, PA, on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). This role is ideal for educators experienced in delivering individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique learning requirements. Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success and compliance with special education laws. Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to meet varied student abilities. Monitor and document student progress, providing regular updates and reports. Manage classroom behavior and create an inclusive learning environment. Desired Qualifications: Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
