This full-time Social Worker position supports K-12 students within a school district serving both high school and middle school settings. Located in Pennsylvania, this contract role is available immediately and is expected to continue throughout the school year until a permanent hire is made. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling to K-12 students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention plans Conduct crisis assessments and offer support for students facing difficult situations Connect students and families with community resources and support services Maintain accurate and confidential case records in compliance with school policies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance student well-being Qualifications: Valid Pennsylvania Professional Social Work (SW) license Up-to-date Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) clearances Experience working with school-age children, preferably across middle and high school levels Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgment Benefits: Full-time contract with flexible scheduling during the school year Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student lives Collaborative environment with dedicated education professionals This position is based in the Wilkes Barre area, supporting both high school and middle school campuses.
