An opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide specialized services within a K-12 school setting in Elk Grove, CA. This contract position spans the upcoming school year and focuses on supporting students with speech and language challenges through comprehensive evaluation and individualized therapy.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough evaluations to identify speech and language disorders among students Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on assessment findings Provide targeted therapy sessions aimed at advancing speech and language skills Monitor and document student progress with detailed records Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care and support Engage families and caregivers to educate and involve them in the therapeutic process Qualifications and Experience: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current licensure or eligibility for licensure by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology Preferably holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment To qualify, candidates must maintain an active state license approved by the Speech-Language Pathology board and meet educational requirements at the Masters level or higher. This role provides access to ongoing professional support and resources, including guidance from seasoned SLP advisors within the state.
