Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across grades K-12 Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs Provide direct speech therapy services to students with communication disorders Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and IDEA regulations Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning Qualifications: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Valid SLP licensure for school-based practice Experience working with children in educational environments, preferably with K-12 populations Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school staff Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations related to special education and speech services Location: Alabaster, Alabama Duration: Contract position for the full normal school year (NSY) This role offers the opportunity to impact student outcomes by addressing critical speech and language needs within a supportive educational community.
