AND... We are offering a $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS for eligible candidates! The Radiology Tech performs digital X-ray studies based on provider orders. The Tech is a multi-skilled professional working within their scope to assist in patient care under provider supervision. Essential Functions Safely performs provider-ordered radiographic examinations, including patient positioning, immobilization, and radiation protection. Sets up and adjusts supportive and immobilization equipment, handling patients safely and professionally. Accurately documents patient encounters in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Determines and selects proper electronic and technical factors to safeguard patients and equipment. Maintains skills to meet patient care and operational needs; may collect specimens, run point-of-care tests, and travel to other facilities as needed. Practices sterile techniques to prevent cross-contamination. Reports equipment malfunctions or repairs immediately. Performs additional duties like ordering supplies, patient registration, scheduling, and other administrative tasks as needed. 2-year/associate degree required. Licensing/Certification:
Completion of an approved X-Ray Technician program; ARRT registration required. Experience:
One year of imaging or medical assisting experience preferred.
