We are seeking a

Production Control Supervisor

to develop, maintain, and optimize the production scheduling process at our Jacksonville, TX facility. Utilizing Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems (AS400 experience is a plus), the Production Control Supervisor will ensure an efficient production workflow, timely product delivery, and alignment with customer KPIs. This role involves cross-functional coordination to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Scheduling:

Create and manage detailed production schedules using Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems. Ensure optimal resource utilization and on-time delivery in alignment with sales forecasts and customer orders. Capacity Planning:

Analyze production capacity, identify constraints, and collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to balance workload and resources effectively. Process Development:

Design and implement standardized scheduling processes to improve efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance production flow. Data Management:

Input, update, and maintain accurate scheduling data in AS400 ERP/MRP, including work orders, material requirements, and production timelines. Reporting & Analysis:

Generate regular reports using Excel to track production performance, schedule adherence, and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights for continuous improvement. Issue Resolution:

Proactively identify scheduling conflicts or delays and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly, minimizing disruptions. Inventory Alignment:

Coordinate inventory control to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules, reducing excess inventory and shortages.

Required Qualifications:

Education : Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred.

Equivalent experience considered. Experience:

Minimum of 3 years in a production scheduling or planning role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in sign manufacturing. Equivalent experience will be considered. Technical skills:

comprehensive knowledge of MRP databases and database management.

Advanced level in Excel. In addition:

Strong Communication, Problem Solving, Organizational and Analytical skills. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

This is a full-time position based on-site at our Jacksonville, TX location. Work primarily in an office setting with frequent interaction and observation on the plant floor. Overtime may be necessary to meet production deadlines.
