Role Purpose : Directors are responsible for setting the strategic direction for assigned brands within the dentsu portfolio, overseeing a team of digital and programmatic team members who support the dentsu agency brands, including Carat, dentsuX, and iProspect. They possess in-depth knowledge of the programmatic and direct digital landscape and are proficient with multiple buying platforms. They have an entrepreneurial spirit and can work independently to deliver success for client campaigns and overall business objectives.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who excels in team management, has programmatic expertise, and demonstrates a commitment to excellence. Directors are expected to stay current on changes within the ad tech landscape, and drive innovation with their passion for problem-solving using data, tech, and creativity. The Director is accountable for the operational efficiency and effectiveness of their team, for managing day-to-day client relationships, and for developing status as a trusted advisor to their clients. They will take a proactive approach to campaign strategy and management, ensuring campaigns meet or exceed performance metrics and align with client goals.

Key Accountabilities:

Oversee programmatic and digital direct strategy and lead development of tactical recommendations Provide leadership to account team and manage day-to-day activities or direct reports, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration, ensuring team operations align with client goals and strategic vision Manage client relationships, priorities, and client communication Drive growth of junior team members through regular 1:1 meetings and mentorship Lead knowledge-share sessions to enhance campaign performance and share knowledge and experience Experience with DSP, SSP, digital direct publishers, ad servers, and ad verification partners Adopt and enforce established team operational standards and best practices Set and manage timelines to ensure prioritization of team deliverables Guide and encourage cross-discipline trainings to ensure all team members are comfortable planning and executing both direct and programmatic campaigns Drive innovation for assigned brands, managing monthly investment tracking and revenue across clients Contribute to and/or lead development of thought leadership, POVs, or other shareable collateral that improves the overall level of knowledge across digital and programmatic investment teams Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 7+ years' experience within the programmatic and digital industry Strong experience with management of a team and leading a highly successful team Strong experience across all digital media channels and ability to eloquently speak to each Strong understanding of business concepts and client objectives to identify expansion opportunities Consistent, exceptional project management Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation, and analytical skills Proactive & collaboration mindset Ability to retain professionalism in all situations Detail-oriented with strong attention to project management and follow-through Ability to prioritize multiple tasks Solutions orientated with strong critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills Proficient in programmatic technology, platform, and partner solutions, including but not limited to, DSPs, ad servers, ad verification platforms, planning/financial platforms, DMPs, analytics & reporting dashboards, etc. Strong experience working with business applications; MS Office Suite required

The hourly pay range for this position is $61.00 - $98.89. The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Temporary employees are eligible for paid holidays in accordance with dentsu policy, as well as safe and sick time. This position is not eligible for any other benefits or other compensation.
