****Applicants seeking short-term or part-time work with the University Hawai'i may apply for Casual Hire positions, which include administrative, professional, and technical (APT) or instructional-type positions. Because of the temporary nature of these appointments, Casual Hire employees are not eligible for most benefits as provided to regular BOR and Civil Service employees such as paid leave and holidays. Funding: Tuition Funds Duties and Responsibilities Provides general administrative support for the Shidler College of Business, Fiscal Office, including but not limited to, assisting with the management of the College's fiscal and personnel functions. Answers phone calls, logs, sorts and distributes mail, records, documents, forms, etc. Provides customer service to external and internal inquiries. Assists with receiving and distributing payroll checks and payroll related documentation. Reviews HR-related forms, letters and documentation required for processing and checks documentation for accuracy and completeness. Reviews procurement requests and fiscal paperwork including preparing work orders, purchase orders, requisitions, and invitations to bid; processing travel requests and reimbursements, p-card allocations, and requests for proposals/quotations or proposal/bid/technical specifications; and reviewing and ensuring the appropriateness and correctness of travel documents and processes for payment. Works closely with school/department to provide guidance on necessary supporting documentation and processing of fiscal/personnel transactions. Gathers and maintains a comprehensive database of all personnel actions and assists the fiscal administrator in coordinating all fiscal/administrative matters. Maintains administrative files, records, and documents and provides information as requested. Maintains accurate accounts of project budget information and expenditures and generate financial report spreadsheets as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications

Possession of a baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, Liberal Arts or related field and 0 year(s) of progressively responsible professional experience with responsibilities for business administration; or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.

Self-starter with demonstrated ability to learn new information systems and procedures quickly. Demonstrated ability to be well-organized, multi-task, pay attention to detail, and effectively manage tasks. Demonstrated ability to effectively participate and collaborate as a member of a team. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to solve complex problems with confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy and refer issues as appropriate to others.

Desirable Qualifications
