Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
ISV/ISO Business Development Executive
with a proven track record in
merchant processing industry sales -specifically
ISV and ISO channel development . This individual will be responsible for signing up ISVs across various verticals to integrate with our
Vaultix Payment Gateway , as well as onboarding ISO partners to sell clients complete suite of products and services. The ideal candidate will be highly connected in the payments ecosystem, possess a deep technical understanding of payment gateways, and be comfortable engaging both at a technical integration level and in high-level business negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
ISV Partner Acquisition & Enablement
Prospect, recruit, and onboard independent software vendors ( "ISVs") across various industries. Sell and integrate Ace's Vaultix Payment Gateway into ISV software platforms, leading contract negotiations and certification processes. Enable ISVs to embed payment capabilities, API/SDK technical fluency and monetize their software effectively.
ISO Channel Development
Recruit, activate, and manage Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs) to sell Ace Merchant Processing products-including Vaultix Gateway, merchant services, terminals, POS Systems, analytics, and value-added services. Build pipeline, drive recruitment, and deliver training and enablement for ISO partners.
Strategic Sales & Relationship Management
Cultivate strong, ongoing relationships with ISVs and ISOs to maximize revenue, retention, and cross-sell opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Operations, Marketing, Legal, Technical Integration) to smooth onboarding, integration, and support.
Industry Engagement & Thought Leadership
Represent Ace at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to drive brand visibility and networking. Stay informed on payment trends, gateway innovations, embedded payments, and industry dynamics, and translate insights into partner-facing value propositions.
Performance & Operational Accountability
Establish and meet aggressive recruitment and revenue KPIs. Track sales metrics (e.g., number of ISV/ISO onboardings, integration timelines, transaction volume growth). Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to refine Vaultix Gateway and partner onboarding experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of experience
in the merchant processing industry, with a solid track record in
ISV and ISO sales
and partnerships. Deep
technical and commercial understanding
of payment gateways, API/SDK integrations, merchant processing models, acquirer relationships, and embedded commerce. Demonstrated success in signing up ISVs with integrated payment gateways and onboarding ISOs across diverse industry verticals. Strong negotiation skills, business acumen, and ability to manage complex contractual and operational processes. Exceptional communication skills-able to present to both technical and business audiences. Comfortable with travel to trade shows, conferences, and customer sites; experienced in networking and representing the company externally. Highly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Familiarity with partner portals, CRM tools, and integration lifecycle management. Experience in value-added services such as analytics, fraud prevention, EMV, dual pricing, or terminal management. Existing network of ISV or ISO contacts in verticals like retail, SaaS, healthcare, hospitality, or field services.
