THE JOB
We are seeking an Account Manager to join the State, Local, and Education (SLED) sales team in Texas. This is a field sales role responsible for driving new business and expanding existing relationships across state agencies, municipalities, and higher education institutions in the Austin or San Antonio region. The Account Manager will manage the full sales cycle, build strong executive-level relationships, and work closely with technical teams to deliver high-value, complex solutions. This role requires consistent pipeline development, strategic prospecting, and close alignment with channel partners and sales engineers to ensure customer success.
THE QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 6+ years of enterprise field sales experience in computer networking, cybersecurity, or network observability solutions Proven success selling Network Performance Monitoring (NPM), Application Performance Monitoring (APM), or other network-based observability software into enterprise or SLED accounts Track record of consistently exceeding quota with strong territory development skills Ability to manage large, complex accounts and sell into IT, Data Centers, and CISO-level buyers Experience working with and through channel partners Strong business acumen, energy, and consultative selling approach Based in Austin or San Antonio, TX with willingness to travel across the assigned territory THE BENEFITS
