A highly respected, award-winning law firm is seeking an experienced
Legal Secretary
to provide administrative and legal support to senior attorneys in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a professional, team-oriented mindset.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in
Philly , with the potential for a hybrid schedule following an initial onboarding period.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level administrative support including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, briefs, exhibits, and trial preparation materials Coordinate logistics for court appearances and client meetings Draft and send communications on behalf of attorneys; handle confidential information with discretion Maintain organized case files and legal records in both physical and digital formats Submit and track expense reports through internal systems Enter attorney time as needed and provide gatekeeping support Collaborate with another assistant to ensure continuous support and coverage for senior attorneys Perform additional administrative tasks and office support as assigned Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal or professional services environment High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with legal software is a plus Strong command of grammar, legal terminology, and formatting requirements Exceptional proofreading, organization, and time management skills Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion Experience with Concur or similar expense reporting systems preferred
