is seeking a Business Development Manager with an accounting or finance background who is interested in transitioning into client-facing sales. This is an opportunity for someone who understands the language of accounting and wants to leverage that expertise in building relationships, developing business, and helping companies solve hiring challenges.
You will be responsible for expanding our client base by connecting with CFOs, Controllers, and HR leaders, and by showcasing how MGR can support their accounting and finance staffing needs. Your ability to combine financial acumen with relationship-building skills will make you uniquely positioned to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with finance and accounting leaders (CFOs, Controllers, VPs of Finance/HR). Use your accounting/finance knowledge to understand client challenges and position MGR's staffing solutions. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and referrals. Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, in partnership with our recruiting team. Collaborate with internal recruiters to ensure smooth delivery of client staffing needs. Stay informed about accounting and finance hiring trends to act as a trusted advisor to clients. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. Prior experience working in accounting/finance (public accounting, corporate accounting, audit, tax, or finance) is highly valued. Interest in transitioning into business development, client relationship management, and sales. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility with financial leaders. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable with outreach and relationship-building.
