Essential Responsibilities:

Develop and execute plans to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant, including production planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and maintenance activities. Ensure all safety protocols and manufacturing SOPs are strictly followed and that the plant complies with all regulatory requirements. Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure timely availability and minimize waste. Develop and manage the plant’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while meeting production targets. Lead and motivate a team of supervisors, technicians, and other staff members, providing guidance and coaching to improve performance and productivity, to foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Performance Management of all employees, including performance reviews, goal setting, production goals, disciplinary action, career development and succession planning. Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance, including production metrics, safety incidents, and financial results. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. Other duties as assigned. Criteria:

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards. Leadership and communication skills. Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize operational costs. Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools. Perform role of leadership as an example of integrity, respect and uncompromising business conduct Leadership skills in problem-solving capabilities. Knowledge of business and management principles for strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Agriculture, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing plant management role, preferably in the agriculture chemical industry.
